Foodies and Aviation Enthusiasts Converge at the 2024 Kissimmee Airport Food Truck Fly-In

The City of Kissimmee Gateway Airport hosted its second Annual Food Truck Fly-In on September 14. The event offered a blend of aviation excitement and culinary delights. In partnership with the Latino Pilots Association (LPA), the event showcased a variety of aircraft, including several flight training planes. Participants had the opportunity to explore these aircraft and learn about career opportunities in aviation from participating businesses. Alongside the aviation exhibits, the event featured a selection of food trucks offering a range of culinary options, from gourmet dishes to international cuisine. Family-oriented activities were available, including a hydration station provided by Toho Water Authority with their mascot, Hydro, and MaxFlight Helicopters offered helicopter rides.
